Disney Themed Teacher’s Appreciation Week

This week was Teacher’s Appreciation Week, and I wanted to do something really special for RaShad’s teacher. She is AMAZING, and our family really appreciates her. I started brainstorming ideas over a month ago and changed my mind just 2 weeks before. I mean, it only makes sense to do a Disney theme since we are planning a Disney vacation in a few months and have Disney on the brain. She knows we’re in Disney mode as RaShad is constantly talking about our trip, and we have a Disney movie night every single Friday night. I took some of my favorite quotes from Disney movies and tied them together with a gift.

Monday: Alice in Wonderland
Quote: “Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast”

Gift: Breakfast – banana, muffin, yogurt

Countdown to Disney: Cars

We are planning a trip to the happiest place on Earth, Disney World! Since the kids aren’t familiar with many Disney characters, I thought it would be a neat idea to introduce them by changing our movie nights to Disney themed nights.

Last Friday was the first one. The kids had a blast. RaShad is OBSESSED with Disney Cars, although he had never seen the movie. We watched Cars (& Car 2 the next day) and had a Cars themed dinner.
